Elizabeth Warr

Elizabeth obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle in 2014 and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2015.   

She commenced work as a Judge’s Associate in the Family Court of Western Australia in 2015. After leaving the Court in 2017, Elizabeth commenced practising exclusively in family law with a boutique specialist firms in Perth. 

Elizabeth has acquired experience in a broad range of areas of family law but is particularly interested in relocation applications. She co-presented a paper comparing relocation case statistics to the “Law on the Lounge Conference of Family Lawyers” in Bali.   

Elizabeth has negotiated favourable outcomes for clients in both financial and parenting matters. She always aims to achieve cost effective outcomes for her clients.   

Elizabeth has also instructed Senior Counsel and Counsel in interim proceedings and at trial.

In 2020, Elizabeth welcomed her first child and has now returned to practise following a period of parental leave.

Elizabeth is a member of the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of Western Australia and the Law Society of Western Australia.
